Job Summary:


Our client is seeking an experienced AP Coordinator to join their accounting team in North Houston. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle Accounts Payable experience and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 . This role will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, assisting with payment processing, and ensuring accurate and timely AP transactions.


Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Enter and maintain AP transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances
• Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation
• Assist with month-end close activities and AP reconciliations
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Assist with maintaining AP aging reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience required
• Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes
• Experience with 3-way matching and invoice coding
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Accounting or finance degree preferred but not required
