Labcorp seeks a Laboratory Robotics Operator in Burlington, NC for overnight shift work (11pm-7:30am). The role involves preparing biological specimens, performing data entry, managing specimen routing, and operating automated laboratory equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process biological specimens for analysis and testing
- Verify patient demographic information against test requisition forms
- Enter patient data into computer systems for tracking
- Route specimens to staging areas and pack for shipment to testing facilities
- Operate automated laboratory instrumentation and manage specimen storage and disposal
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with automated equipment operation
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Comfortable handling biological specimens with strong attention to detail
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
