- Load & unload parts, inspect finished parts to close and exacting tolerances & finish specifications
- Operate CNC Horizontal Machining Centers, CNC Vertical Machining Centers, and CNC Lathes
- The ability to read and work from drawings & specifications. Familiar with production processes and understands job packet documents
- Must possess the ability to perform in-process measurements and keep parts in statistical process control
- Responsible for machine daily maintenance checks and scheduled preventative maintenance
- Must be able perform and manage multiple tasks and/or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
- Perform a variety of general maintenance & shop work, work flexible hours as needed and handle additional tasks as assigned;
- Responsible to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Adhere to Employee's responsibilities outlined in Cygnus' Health & Safety Policy
- Qualified applicants must possess general shop skills and experiences;
- Knowledge of machining techniques and methods;
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate);
- Additional Vo-Tech or Technical school training and previous manufacturing experience required;
- Frequent lifting or moving of materials up to 50 lbs.;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in a manufacturing shop environment (hot, cold and/or noisy areas);
- Frequent hand to finger movement & repetitiveness, handle, feel objects & tools, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking and hearing
