Project ManagerMars United? Commerce is seeking a Project Manager to manage client projects and processes to ensure project accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction. Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to one of Mars United Commerce's hub locations in Detroit (Troy) or Chicago for a hybrid work schedule.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and manage project scopeDevelop and manage project schedulesDevelop and manage estimatesManage budgets and billingPerformance Expectations:Project ScopesDefine Project Scope in concert with Account ManagementClearly communicate goals, expectations, and key information to teamDefine and evaluate project successIdentify and manage project risksWork with team to troubleshoot and resolve issuesDevelop and communicate internal status reports and meeting notesProject SchedulesMaintain accurate schedule through lifecycle of projectManage projects to scheduled milestonesCommunicate schedule risks upon detection and work with team to mitigateClearly communicate key project milestones to all team membersEstimatesUtilize existing data where possible to inform project estimatesDevelop estimate templates based on common project scopesEffectively manage scope creep by issuing change controlsCommunicate estimate risk upon detection and work with team to mitigateBudgets and BillingBilling liaison: Responsible for budget management, weekly billing meetings, and follow up w/ Client Leadership teams regarding outstanding financial issues.Skillsets Required:Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field1-3 years of marketing or advertising experience, agency experience preferredInterest in the Project Management disciplineStrong background in digital media including custom website page development, native advertising, digital display ads, search, email, and social mediaProficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to manage time, adhere to strict timelines, multitask and work well under pressureDetail orientation and ability to ensure that projects are developed in line with client's brand style and guidelinesProactive nature in the seeking of work/responsibilityDependability in execution of work and as member of assigned teamEnthusiastic, solution-oriented attitude in accepting work/new challengesDesire to learn all aspects of the assigned client scope of work and tactics; digital knowledge (banner ads, etc.) is a plusEffective interpersonal skills working well across functionsConscientious work ethicAdditional InformationThe Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
