Residence Counselor

Job Description Residence Counselors provide care and therapy for clients in temporary treatment facilities, handling emergency situations, guiding outings, and assisting with transportation. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED/TASC required Experience in mental health, crisis intervention, and managing trauma‑triggered behavior preferred Strong time management, communication, and listening skills. Ability to work well in a team. Good conflict resolution skills Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field strongly preferred Knowledge of AWARDS Willingness to perform CPR/First Aid/AED/CPI/Naloxone Schedule All positions are in hospitals, nursing homes, CBOs, and clinics. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week. General shift availability: Days (7a‑3p or 8a‑4p) Evenings (3p‑11p or 4p‑12a) Nights (11p‑7a or 12a‑8a) Every other weekend is usually required for all positions. COVID-19 Vaccination COVID-19 Vaccination is required.
