Job Title: Retail Sales Associate Location: Torrance, CA Type: Contract (June 2026 – April 2027) Compensation: $22.00 Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: Flexible availability to work within store operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays Overview Join the excitement of a limited‑time anime and manga pop‑up shop. We’re looking for energetic Retail Sales Associates who enjoy engaging with customers and being part of a fun, high‑energy retail environment. Whether you’re a fan of anime and manga or simply love unique retail experiences and pop‑up events, this is a great opportunity to be part of something special. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with product recommendations and purchases Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions accurately Restock merchandise and maintain organized, visually appealing displays Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming Follow store policies and supervisor direction Report any issues, concerns, or incidents promptly Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Friendly, outgoing, and dependable with a positive attitude Ability to multitask and remain on your feet for extended periods Team player with respect for a diverse customer base Interest in anime, manga, or pop culture is a plus (not required) Japanese language skills are a plus Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
