Shop Heroic currently has retail locations in Sacramento, Natomas, Elk Grove, Vacaville and Concord and is expanding into the Carmichael area! Job Summary Totals bill for merchandise, accepts payment, makes change for customers and maintains and stocks store OPEN availability General Accountability Assists in establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales Stamps, marks, or tags prices on merchandise Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill Accepts payments Wraps or bags merchandise for customers Cleans shelves, counters, or tables Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift Calculates sales discount to determine price Keeps record of sales and prepares inventory of stock Performs other related duties as assigned or requested Skills Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum Retail/Customer Service Experience: 1 year preferred Competencies Customer service Problem resolution Organization Sales and marketing Oral communication Resourcefulness Basic mathematical knowledge required Physical Demands Regularly required to stand Regularly required to talk or hear Regularly required to use hands Regularly required to reach with hands and arms Dealing with very sharp objects Required to bend, lift or climb Required to lift light weights (less than 25 pounds) Required to lift moderate weights (25-50 pounds) via Team Lift Occasionally required to lift heavy weights (50 pounds or greater) via Team Lift Work Environment Exposure to extreme heat in Summer months Exposure to extreme cold in Winter months Exposure to moving mechanical parts The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate Warehouse environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Heroic Companies LLC
