Accounting Technician
Under general supervision, performs a variety of accounting tasks to compile, prepare, review, and verify financial and statistical records and funds in providing service to Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) staff, school districts, and charter schools; performs related duties as required.

An eligibility list is being established for the Accounting Technician position. Candidates on the eligibility list will be considered for full-time, part-time, or limited-term positions while the list is active. LOCATION & SCHEDULE Work Location: Mather, CA Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm EXAMINATION/SELECTION PROCESS Tentative exam administration dates: Written Exams: 10/26/26 - 11/1/26 Oral Exams: 11/2/26 - 11/8/26 Final Interview: Date to be determined Examination procedures are subject to change as deemed necessary by the Chief Administrator, Human Resources.
