Job Description Job Description The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide essential patient care services within a long-term care facility, supporting residents with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Reporting directly to a Registered Nurse, the CNA will play a critical role in monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and maintaining infection control standards. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) Monitor and record vital signs accurately Support patient mobility using appropriate aids and perform extensive physical assistance and lifting Maintain strict infection control protocols Document medical information clearly and timely Sanitize medical equipment regularly Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Monitor patient safety and respond appropriately to risks Required Qualifications Proficient in patient care and vital signs monitoring Knowledge of infection control practices Strong communication skills Demonstrated empathy and compassion toward patients Effective time management abilities Teamwork orientation Preferred Qualifications Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
