Job Details: Location: Red Oak 12 – Red Oak, TX 75154 | Position Type: Full Time | Shift: Any Job Overview As an Assistant Manager, you will collaborate with management to hire, train, and supervise team members while ensuring excellent guest service and smooth operations. You will oversee inventory, marketing events, safety controls, licensing, scheduling, and business objectives to increase profits and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist the Theatre General Manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy. Coordinate operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met. Supervise and motivate staff. Use interpersonal and mediation skills to handle conflict. Communicate with guests and evaluate their needs. Assist in hiring, training, and maintaining employee records. Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the theatre. Perform various tasks such as ticket sales, snack bar assistance, and auditorium cleaning. Complete any other duties delegated by the supervisor. Qualifications Minimum age of 18; if 21 or older, R-Serving certification required for locations with bars. Must obtain Food Handler and/or Food Manager certifications as required. Must retain a current driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Must be available to open and close regularly. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays. Completion of a written document for religious accommodations, if needed. Essential Functions Oversee daily operations of assigned areas to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality guest service. Supervise, train, and mentor hourly staff to maintain operational standards. Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and assist with problem‑solving or conflict resolution. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Assist with scheduling, inventory management, ordering supplies, and coordinating operational needs. Collaborate with management and team members to achieve operational goals. Support operational tasks such as opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and recordkeeping. Work independently or as part of a team to ensure overall operational efficiency. Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods; limited opportunities to sit. Frequent use of hands and arms to handle objects and tools. Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach as needed. Lift, stock, and transport boxes or supplies up to 35 pounds. Mental stamina and focus during high‑stress periods.
