Homestead-Miami Speedway Job Opportunity

Homestead-Miami Speedway has been open since 1995 following an initiative to spur economic recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. The Speedway, which was founded by Miami businessman, racing enthusiast and philanthropist Ralph Sanchez, is a 650-acre facility that features a 1.5-mile oval and 2.21-mile road course. The Speedway hosts on-track events nearly 300 days per year and generates more than $301 million annually for the region. NASCAR crowned champions in all three of its national series at Homestead-Miami Speedway for 18 straight years (2002-19). In 2023, the Speedway hosts the second race in the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs on Sunday, Oct. 22. In August of 2022, Homestead-Miami Speedway unveiled a new, colorfully designed logo that showcases the venue's sense of place and incredible competition while incorporating all what South Florida has to offer from the vibrancy of South Beach to the tranquility of the Keys. Using a combination of pink, blue, yellow, light and dark turquoise colors specific to the culture of South Florida - the new Homestead-Miami Speedway highlights regional and cultural flair of color, speed and intense, off-the chart racing that is unique to Miami.

Seasonal Hospitality General Staff Team Member

The Seasonal Hospitality General Staff Team Member will work under the direction of the Event Experience team. The General Hospitality position is responsible for greeting guests, checking admissions and answering questions our guests may have in our various hospitality locations on race day. This job entails friendly, outgoing and positive people who are willing to work as part of a team.

Job Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to take direction and follow through with assigned responsibilities, multi-task and exercise good judgement
• Must be able to attend and participate in all pre-event training sessions and all assigned event days
• Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including early mornings, late nights, weekends and indoor/outdoor environments when required
• Must be punctual, dependable, able to stand for periods of time, walk long distances, ability to lift up to 25lbs.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
• Exude positive attitude and place the guest experience at a premium
• Some positions may require work for 1 hour past the checkered flag

Must be available to work Championship Race Weekend, November 6-8.
