Electrician A - Construction Maintenance Live (Shift Varies)

Pay Rate $28.80 per hour Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am. Essential Job Functions Provide electrical maintenance support for the company, including analysis and repair of electrical malfunctions. Work from blueprints and schematics to perform maintenance, repair, or installation of equipment. Provide written reports of materials and replacement parts needed for jobs. Direct or instruct subordinate employees requiring training in Electrical Maintenance Mechanics, Classes B and C. Determine proper size and specifications and perform electrical maintenance on miscellaneous items such as wire, conduit, fuses, motors, switches, panels, lighting, relays, and control devices. Prepare layouts of electrical circuits. Inspect motors, motor control centers, junction boxes, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating and air conditioning circuits, and make necessary preventative or running repairs and corrections. Perform installations, connections, adjustments, and calibrations of electrical gauges, meters, and related equipment. Troubleshoot computerized equipment controllers such as programmable thermostats, temperature, and process controllers. Assist with general cleaning and support other crews as required. Maintain safety, housekeeping, sanitation, and disease control requirements while performing job duties. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of on‑the‑job training and/or formal schooling in electrical maintenance. Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks efficiently and on time. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to work safely from a ladder. Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as required.
