Job Title : Field Technical Support Consultant III
Location : Rochester, NY
Duration : 24-Month Contract Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Field Technical Support professional to provide onsite technical support for PCs, laptops, workstations, printers, and related hardware technologies. The individual will perform diagnostics, break-fix repairs, installations, and troubleshooting activities while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Perform onsite diagnosis and repair of hardware-related issues.
- Support laptops, desktops, workstations, and printer equipment.
- Complete hardware replacements, installations, and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot operating system and basic networking issues.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
- Work directly with customers to resolve technical concerns.
- Coordinate with internal support teams for escalated incidents.
- Manage multiple service requests while meeting response expectations.
- Experience supporting PC, laptop, workstation, or printer hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting and break-fix repair skills.
- Familiarity with Windows environments and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable lifting equipment and traveling to customer locations when required.
