Job Opportunity: PICC Team Registered Nurse
Our organization is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our PICC Team, specializing in vascular access care within both acute and outpatient environments in San Antonio. This position is essential for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine vascular access needs.
- Utilize ultrasound guidance for the insertion and maintenance of PICC lines.
- Monitor patients for any potential complications related to vascular access.
- Provide education to patients and staff regarding line care and infection prevention strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to uphold safe, evidence-based practices.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in vascular access or related nursing fields is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
This role involves working in both acute care and outpatient settings, requiring adaptability and a commitment to patient-centered care.
