This position focuses on empowering young learners through direct and consultative occupational therapy services, fostering essential fine and gross motor skills critical for their academic success and daily life.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of fine and gross motor skill development in children
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals for students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services tailored to students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Working one-on-one or in small group settings to help students achieve specific OT goals and tracking progress
• Collecting relevant data and maintaining accurate records related to student goals and delivered services
• Preparing progress reports and required documentation in compliance with special education and school guidelines
• Collaborating with teachers and the student support team to provide classroom strategies and practical recommendations
• Providing data insights and recommendations during IEP meetings alongside teachers and other team members
• Ensuring that all OT documentation and practices comply with special education requirements
