About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Nevada Market. The CFO will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for the overall financial health and viability of the market. This role involves strategic and financial oversight, including the establishment of the finance organization to support the market, budgeting, and tracking market performance. The CFO will also collaborate with the Market President and other leaders to ensure that financial resources align with the market's economic plans and budgets. Essential responsibilities include new market stand-up, performance management, planning and investment analysis, business development, and the management of key finance functions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in various financial areas of a multi-faceted health plan, health care system, and/or multi-service provider setting, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams, providing financial leadership in a large, complex business, and managing a broad range of financial and organizational issues. Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills are essential. The CFO must be a leader who can build and maintain effective partnerships, demonstrate political savvy, and operate in politically complex situations. Familiarity with government programs in the health care field and a dedication to diversity and inclusion are also important. The role requires a candidate who is willing to challenge the status quo, has the ability to influence business strategy, and is dedicated to the values of the company and its market leadership team.
