Lead Application Developer

What You Will Be Doing As a Lead Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing application changes while staying at the forefront of emerging technology in information delivery and relational database management. You will provide technical leadership, mentor a team of developers on assigned projects, and collaborate across departments to evaluate business needs and provide robust technology solutions. This role involves conducting research on emerging technologies, designing end-to-end integrated systems, and upholding high standards through comprehensive code reviews. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and mentor team members on assigned projects. Design, develop, and implement end-to-end integrated systems. Collaborate across teams to evaluate business needs and provide technology solutions. Conduct research on emerging technologies to increase cost-effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility. Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Conduct code reviews and uphold established coding standards. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the department’s strategic business plans and the company’s existing IT architecture. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience working as a Developer and 5+ years in business requirements gathering and analysis. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong proficiency in programming languages, specifically C# and ASP.NET. Experience using TFS or Azure DevOps with GIT integrated for source control. Proven experience in internet-based systems development and agile methodologies. Advanced technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including current MS Windows Server releases. Knowledge of web best practices including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Desired Skills & Experience Specific experience with the Microsoft Stack. Knowledge of web application frameworks Angular 1.x and Angular 7+, including TypeScript. Understanding of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Ability to present complex technical ideas in user-friendly language.
