About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Brand Partnerships to spearhead the development and execution of its brand partnership and sponsorship function. This senior revenue leader will be responsible for leading all brand partnerships, sponsorship, and advertising revenue activities across the company's content and live event slate. The role is not traditional media sales; the ideal candidate will be a hybrid operator, part strategic partnerships executive, part branded entertainment architect, and part creative business builder. Key responsibilities include managing a small internal sales team, owning relationships with external agency partners, driving creative deal-making, and leading the development of go-to-market materials. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial builder with a proven track record in commercial origination, and will be expected to have an activated Rolodex with senior relationships at brands and CMOs. Applicants for the SVP, Brand Partnerships role at the company should be highly entrepreneurial and possess a startup DNA, thriving in a high-growth environment. The position requires a leader who can build new, innovative revenue streams from scratch and is comfortable with ambiguity. Experience in media, live events, sports, entertainment, or non-fiction content is essential, and a background in consumer products, IP licensing, and merchandise is a plus. The role demands a candidate who can manage a high-stakes partnership pipeline, develop and execute a commercial strategy, and lead both an internal team and a network of external agency partners. The company is looking for a candidate who can work across both direct brand relationships and agency-led processes, and who is adept at structuring deals to position brands as strategic partners.
