Lab Associate

Hiring: Lab Associate Act as the main liaison for day-to-day lab operations and take full ownership. Contribute to organizing events, activities, and community sub-groups to foster the vibrant growth of an entrepreneurial engineering community with a focus on labs and hardware. Engage in the coordination and production of training sessions, incorporating feedback and insights to guide the effective use of equipment and spaces. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, conducting necessary laboratory inspections. Evaluate laboratory protocols from internal and external groups to gain insights into ongoing projects. Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary to operate the equipment's. Collaborate with researchers, startups, corporates, other relevant stakeholders to grasp their lab needs and facilitate the support. Stay informed about the latest technological advancements, sharing insights with the team. Generate regular reports covering lab activities and project progress. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure protocol adherence. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline. 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory experience. Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and innovative environment. Demonstrate comfort in a fast-paced startup setting, effectively managing information with minimal supervision. Display a curious and eager-to-learn mindset, actively contributing as a team player with a willingness to handle any task. Cultivate an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
