Swing Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pmSUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible forperforming precision mechanical inspection of machined parts and incoming materials to verify compliance to specification. Basic blueprint reading & shop math (Trigonometry) Inspect first off parts from manufacturing work centers Collect measurement data for use in First Article Inspection (FAI) reports Collect and provide data required for critical part Final Inspection Reports (FIRs) Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience performing in-process and final inspection preferably in a machining, automotive or aerospace business Hand tools & measuring tools Basic blueprint reading Thorough knowledge of GD&T CMM operation required Ability to correctly use and interpret basic measuring tools including weight gauge, micrometer, caliper scale (linear), gauge blocks, thread gauges, and comparative standardsCULTURE:
