We are seeking a creative and motivated Fundraising Specialist who is skilled in donor engagement and communication and who brings talent in graphic design and social media content creation . This hybrid role is perfect for someone who can blend development strategy with visual storytelling and digital outreach to inspire support for our mission. Qualifications/Skills Education/Certification Bachelor's degree required. Special Knowledge/Skills Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop). Strong storytelling and writing skills, especially for donor communications and social media. Comfortable with donor databases. A passion for education and the mission of public-school support. Strong organizational, communication, problem solving and interpersonal, networking and collaboration skills. Demonstrated effectiveness in developing and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, funders, volunteers and community members. Demonstrated skills in writing, editing, and meeting facilitation. Demonstrated ability to produceconsistent, on-brand designsacross multiple platforms and formats. Experience preparing bothdigital and print-ready assets, with knowledge of file types, resolution, bleeds, and color modes. Proven proficiency inCanvafor creating digital content such as social media graphics, email visuals, presentations, and quick-turn collateral. Comfortable in afast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Effectivecollaborator, able to work closely with leadership to bring creative concepts to life. Open tocreative feedback and direction, with a flexible, growth-oriented mindset and willingness to iterate. Proven success at program management, project planning, implementation and evaluation. Thorough knowledge and proven experience in developing and managing programs with community/corporate donors. Thorough knowledge and proven experience in event planning, management and execution. Experience developing and managing budgets. Major Duties and Responsibilities Under general supervision, coordinates and implements programs aimed at targeting a donor base and prospects for Foundation sponsorships and gifts. Designs and/or assists in the design, production, and distribution of fundraising materials and case statements; develops, writes, prepares, and disseminates donor correspondence, and writes and/or assists in the writing of solicitation proposals, as appropriate. Responds to donor inquires with accurate and timely information; secures donor gifts, and provides donors with relevant materials. Plans, coordinates, and facilitates Foundation programs, and fundraising activities and events. Programs and events may include, but are not limited to the scholarships program, grant program, Bright Stars of SBISD event, and Style Show, Gala, Sporting Clay Tournament, Golf Classic annual fundraisers. Provides financial stewardship and reporting to donors; ensures appropriate expenditure of donor funds. Participates in and assists with special events and coordinating event-day logistics, as needed; when appropriate, meets face-to-face with donors and prospects and ensures experience at the Foundation is satisfactory. Organizes and coordinates the activities of volunteers and committees/boards engaged in fundraising activities, as appropriate. Develop and implement program communication plans and maintain Foundation webpages. Collaborate effectively with campus leaders and community/corporate donors to stay abreast of and be responsive to program, project, student and staff needs. Participate on and work collaboratively with campus leaders and Board of Directors and other advisory groups as appropriate. Ensure that work activities contribute to the attainment of the Foundation's mission statement, in alignment with the district's goals and objectives. Communications Maintain open and effective lines of communications with external district stakeholders to ensure synergy between community resources and district/campus needs. Policies, Reports and Law Assist in development and publication of reports related to the Foundations team goals and objectives. Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and donor information. Budget/Accounting Ensure that programs are cost effective and that funds are managed prudently. Compile budgets and cost estimates based on documented program needs. Post weekly deposits into the QuickBooks accounting system to monitor receivables and payables. Calculate and send invoices to community/corporate donors. Manage the corporate matching gifts program for numerous companies throughout the district. Other Perform other duties as assigned.
