Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Hospital Float

Location: Burks, Halls, and Households, Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift - 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with every other weekend commitment.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospital float team. The position involves providing care in various units, including subacute rehab and long-term care environments. The LPN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, while adapting to the specific needs of each household unit.

Responsibilities

Provide long-term care and rehabilitation support to patients in assigned units.
Assist in daily living activities for patients, including those with cognitive impairments.
Implement patient care plans and monitor patient status.
Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience required.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
Experience in long-term acute care (LTAC) setting preferred.
Strong organizational and leadership skills required.
