By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving clerks, fostering a productive work environment.Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure data integrity.Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to optimize material flow and meet delivery schedules.Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the shipping and receiving department.Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies or issues as they arise.Recommended Qualifications3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and shipping software.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.Bonus QualificationsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing.Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.Proven ability to train and mentor junior shipping/receiving personnel.Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs documentation.Job Titles That Should ApplyShipping Lead, Receiving Lead, Warehouse Lead, Logistics Coordinator, Inventory Control Lead, Materials Handler Lead, Shipping Supervisor, Receiving SupervisorWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
