We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This is a local, NYC-based role covering multiple states across the Northeast territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with and identifying new opportunities and following up with potential leads. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Contacts regular and prospective customers
• Cold calling
• Estimates or quotes prices, delivery dates, etc.
• Recommends products to customers based on customer’s needs, interests, and business type.
• Answers any questions regarding pricing, product, availability, etc.
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned Northeast states to meet with new or existing clients, as well as periodic travel to company headquarters as needed.

Preferred but not required:

• Culinary or Meat industry background
• Knowledge of CRM programs
• Chef experience
• Cooking experience

Compensation:

• 1st year: $60,000 base. No commission.
• 2nd year plus: $38,500 base + commission (4% of gross profit).
