We are working with an extraordinary family owned company seeking to hire an Accounting Manager. This role will be hands on and manage a staff of an accounting admin as well as the dispatchers
Qualified candidates must have a 4 year Accounting Degree and strong knowledge of GAAP, Month-End closing and Financial Statement preparation This will be a hands on role
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to oversee a staff and manager office operations
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- This includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, including cash, inventory, receivables
- Oversee timely generation and delivery of customer invoices and ensure timely collection
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans
