Education Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and GAAP principles Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience required Oil & Gas industry experience preferred Experience with NetSuite preferred Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms Experience working with customer billing portals Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Job Duties

Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable activities including billing, collections, cash applications, reconciliations, and month-end support Generate and submit invoices through customer billing portals Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash Reconcile Accounts Receivable subledger to the general ledger Maintain accurate customer records within ERP systems Prepare Accounts Receivable reports and financial analysis for management Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and operations to resolve payment issues Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures Enter invoices, payments, and account details with accuracy Keep records organized and up to date Support month-end work by reviewing totals and checking for errors Work with the team to keep financial reports on track
