Accounts Payable Administrator

Carencro, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Administrator to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This position is responsible for processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing general office support. Experience within the construction, electrical, foundation, or oilfield industries is highly preferred. Essential Duties: Process daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions. Enter invoices accurately into QuickBooks. Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation. Verify invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain accurate financial records through efficient data entry. Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally. Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and other administrative duties. Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries. Support the accounting team with additional administrative and accounting tasks as assigned. Requirements/Skills: 2-3 years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting experience preferred. Experience using QuickBooks is required. Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in the construction, electrical, foundation, or oilfield industries is highly preferred. Familiarity with construction accounting, job costing, purchase orders, vendor management, and industry terminology. Experience supporting accounting operations in a project-based business environment. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work. Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and team members. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office materials up to 20 pounds.
