Project Manager

Overview CHENEGA FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, LLC Batavia, NY The Project Manager is responsible to the Government for overall management control and accountability for technical performance, cost and schedule control requirements, and general management of specific projects assigned to them. Responsibilities * Responsible for all aspects of the effort and shall have the autonomy from the corporate headquarters to execute the effort unimpeded by corporate management. * Responsible for the successful performance of multiple contracts and ensuring project safety and quality control. * Primary liaison with the project-specific Government customer. * Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management, and other departments. * Evaluate project labor hour execution against project performance criteria then analyze, recommend, and report findings on a regular basis. * Establish and monitor detailed workflows and resourcing plans, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, resolve conflicts, and manage progress with confidence. * Review, approve, and report project resources time allocation and correlating invoice processing. * Foresee a project's obstacles, risks, and constraints and effectively plan around them. * Provide periodic status reports, as required by contract or supervision, that inspire as well as capture progress and issues. * Provide proposal writing and editing expertise to Proposal Management team on federal government procurement opportunities. * Attend periodic Fuels Team meetings to report progress and/or resolve outstanding challenges/issues related to project performance. * Attend briefings, conferences, and other Government-designated meetings as required in the execution of this effort or as requested by the COR. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field * Minimum ten (10) years management experience in installation operations or facility support services * Minimum five (5) years responsibility for the profit and loss of a multimillion-dollar program Preferred Qualifications * Experience on a federal contract program Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Skilled, possessing extensive supervisory operation maintenance experience. * Knowledge in operations and maintenance of facilities, utilities (electric, water & sewer), installed building equipment, and high voltage distribution systems. * Knowledge and experience with financial management and project/program profit and loss as well as projections and cost control. * Knowledgeable in contract operations preferably in the application of the FAR. * Knowledgeable in quality management systems and program level functions. * Ability to think clearly under pressure effectively leading a diverse workforce. * Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Physical Demands (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
