Transportation Analyst

Responsibilities Manage outbound transportation operations for customer shipments, including domestic and international distribution from J&J distribution centers. Coordinate shipment planning and execution to ensure timely and accurate delivery to end customers, including hospitals, wholesalers, and specialty care providers. Track and trace outbound shipments, providing proactive communication and resolving delivery exceptions to maintain service levels. Support development, implementation, and analytics as well as provide analysis and recommendations to support strategic supply chain decisions. Partner with distribution centers, customer service, and logistics teams to align shipping priorities with customer requirements and order fulfillment timelines. Monitor carrier performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), escalating issues and driving corrective actions as needed. Lead cost improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize routing, mode selection, consolidation, and carrier utilization. Drive service improvement initiatives to enhance delivery reliability, visibility, and customer satisfaction. Analyze and report transportation metrics related to service, cost, and efficiency to support operational and strategic decision‑making. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and customer‑specific requirements for outbound shipments. Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. 1‑2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain functions. General knowledge of the U.S. transportation industry and distribution networks. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in high‑pressure environments and manage multiple priorities. Experience in outbound distribution and customer delivery networks (Preferred). Experience in project management (Preferred). Familiarity with transportation compliance and customer‑specific delivery requirements (Preferred). Technological aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly (Preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
