About the Team The Solution Consulting team is a strategic partner to the sales organization. In the North America Manufacturing Customer Base, we communicate the value of Workday’s Human Capital Management applications and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. We collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management to deliver solutions across multiple business functions. About the Role We are seeking a Solution Consultant with Human Capital Management experience to join our Financial Services industry-focused team. In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor to executives at financial institutions during Net New sales opportunities and deliver value‑based executive presentations and tailored product demonstrations that solve unique business challenges. Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor during the sales cycle, providing insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders. Deliver compelling presentations and solutions demonstrations that align with the needs of financial institutions. Collaborate with Account Executives and peer Solution Consultants to support both fast‑moving and large‑scale sales opportunities. Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive increased revenue and sustainable customer outcomes through Workday technology. Maintain a high level of efficiency and purpose while promoting inclusivity within the team. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 5+ years of extensive Human Capital Management domain expertise. 5+ years of experience in presales solution consulting, sales, or implementation roles. 3+ years of business experience with cloud‑based HCM and workforce management applications. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required. Other Qualifications Executive Presence: command a room at the C‑Suite level and influence complex decision‑making processes through presentations. Value‑Based Selling: expert discovery skills that translate technical requirements into a compelling digital transformation vision and business impact. Agility and Adaptability: self‑starter who thrives in ambiguous, high‑stakes, fast‑paced environments and manages multiple concurrent projects with precision and accountability. Creativity and Innovation: generate unique ideas or approaches to improve work, take calculated risks, and continuously improve your craft. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary (USA, NY, Home Office): $126,000 – $189,000 USD per year. Additional US locations have the same range. Eligible for Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants. Compensation is based on location, experience, skills, and business need. Working Arrangements Combine in‑person time and remote work. We require at least 50% of time each quarter in the office, field, or with customers, depending on the role, allowing flexibility to create a schedule that fits your business, team, and personal needs.
