HR Generalist

HR Solutions is searching for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. Our company provides an integrated and cost-effective approach to the Human Resources related functions to various companies across a diverse industry portfolio. This position will be responsible for assisting clients with day-to-day Human Resources projects and tasks including, but not limited to the following key responsibilities: Work directly with our clients in developing & executing customized HR programs Coordinate onboarding of new hires and pre-employment screening process Support in recruiting efforts which may include resume reviewing and phone screens Support clients with administrative tasks such as background requests, drug screenings, completion of HR-related correspondence Leave administration such as FMLA, ADA, and Maternity Knowledge of employment laws and compliance Handle unemployment claims, up to participation in unemployment hearings Works closely with the HR director and HR team on administrative tasks for clients Focused job analysis and compensation studies Investigations and complaints Employee disciplinary actions, performance plans, and terminations Key Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Psychology or related field. 2-3 years of HR Experience SHRM or HRCI professional certification, preferred Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment Must be detail-oriented and organized Excellent communication skills with the confidence to speak in front of groups, to business owners, members of management and employees About HR Solutions: Our client base includes a wide range of small to midsize companies in the Louisiana area and surrounding region. The qualified candidate must be able to work with multiple clients across multiple industries.
