Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk at our Hayward, CA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling data entry tasks, and assisting with operations analysis. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including part-time, full-time, evening, weekend, and night shifts. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17 to $20, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide excellent customer service at all times. Manage check-in and check-out procedures accurately. Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and inquiries. Perform night audit tasks, verifying and matching daily transactions and reports. Maintain and update records using Property Management System (PMS). Inspect rooms to ensure they are clean, ready, and meet quality standards. Coordinate with housekeeping to track room status and availability. Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and emergencies. Maintain front desk area cleanliness and organization. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and security procedures. Assist with administrative tasks and daily operational reports. Assist with data entry tasks and operations analysis as needed. Qualifications Basic knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email handling). Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Attention to detail, especially for night audit and reporting tasks. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid work visa or US citizenship, green card holder, EAD/TN, H1B, H4, F1, F2, L2, H2B, J1, OPT, CPT, and those with hotel/motel/restaurant experience. Skills Sales: ability to promote the hotel's services and upsell products. Customer Service: capability to provide excellent service to guests. Data Entry: accuracy in entering guest information and other data. Front Desk: proficiency in handling front desk operations in a hotel setting.
