Senior Analyst, US Trade Compliance

Abbott seeks a Senior Analyst to manage post-entry U.S. Customs and Border Protection matters, including protests, prior disclosures, and compliance investigations. The role requires deep expertise in import regulations and close coordination with internal teams, customs brokers, and legal advisors to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support customs protests, prior disclosure analysis, post-summary corrections, and CF28/29 responses
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, customs brokers, and legal counsel to gather import records and supporting documentation
• Monitor timelines and ensure accurate, timely submissions and payments through case resolution
• Identify inconsistencies, errors, and trends requiring corrective action
• Partner with business teams to implement corrective and preventive actions from compliance reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Compliance, Audit, or related field
• 3-5 years experience in U.S. import compliance or customs brokerage
• Experience preparing customs protests, prior disclosures, post-summary corrections, or audit responses
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations including 19 CFR and entry requirements
• Ability to analyze import data and identify compliance risks and financial exposure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail

Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
