Treatment Coordinator

As the liaison between the patient and the dentist, a Dental Treatment Coordinator is a high‑profile position. In this role you work closely with the doctor to ensure that the patient understands the treatment, why it is needed, and how it benefits them. Organization, exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, consistent follow‑through, and the ability to multi‑task are keys to your success as a Dental Treatment Coordinator. Your priority is to assist the doctor in getting patients to understand and accept the recommended treatment and subsequently coordinate the treatment plan to work for both the patient and the dental office. Key Responsibilities Assist the doctor in helping patients understand and accept recommended treatment plans. Coordinate treatment plans between patients and the dental office. Ensure timely and professional correspondence with patients. Maintain effective communication and follow‑through on all patient interactions. Required Skills and Experience Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication. Understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Dependable, accountable, open‑availability, and professional in correspondence. 2+ years of dental experience, particularly in accounts coordinating. 1 year experience with multiline phone systems. Technical Proficiency Proficiency with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, SoftDent, and Open Dental. Experience with CareCredit, LendingPoint, Patient Solutions, PatientXpress, Yapi, and DemandForce.
