Multiple Positions! Pre Suit Attorney, Workers Comp - Established Personal Injury Firm - Wilmington, DE

Our client, a nationally established personal injury firm, is seeking 3 attorneys to join their growing Wilmington DE office. Positions include

1. Personal injury pre-suit attorney
2. General liability pre-suit attorney
3. Worker's Comp attorney

This is an in-office role 5 days per week.

Job Descriptions:

Personal injury pre-suit attorney

General liability pre-suit attorney

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
• Guide clients through the case process
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
• Focus on Personal injury cases primarily motor vehicle cases.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the State Bar of Delaware
• 2+ years of personal injury experience
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
• Desire to become part of a trial team

Worker's Comp attorney

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
• Guide clients through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Qualification

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the DE State Bar Association
• Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
