Labor & Delivery Nurse

Location: Fresno, California

Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 3

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $86 - $92/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Fresno, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a L&D:

• Provide patient care services as a General Ward Worker (GWW) in a healthcare setting
• Maintain and submit required professional credentials and documentation including profile and professional references
• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission
• Maintain valid driver's license or state-issued ID
• Comply with health and immunization requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, TB Test, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete and maintain a current Health Statement
• Submit to required background screening processes including criminal background check, OIG search, EPLS, OFAC, and National Sex Offender registry check
• Pass required drug screening
• Maintain valid license and certificate verification for assigned role
• Complete education verification requirements
• Acknowledge and adhere to facility policies and procedures including confidentiality and dispute resolution agreements
• Comply with confirmation of assignment and job description requirements
• Submit badge photo for identification purposes
• Adhere to compliance documentation requirements throughout onboarding and employment
