Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership in the ER, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory judgment.
- Ensure all patients on the unit receive cost-effective, professional care that yields positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while prioritizing patient safety.
- Assess and implement steps to improve the quality of the patient experience and care delivery.
- Support clinical operations by coordinating care, addressing staffing needs, and promoting performance standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold unit policies and procedures to maintain safe, efficient care.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Leadership experience in an ER or similar unit-based setting (nurse lead/charge nurse experience preferred)
- Ability to supervise and coordinate nursing and ancillary staff, with strong collaboration with the care team and physicians
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and high-quality outcomes
- Availability for night shift and travel assignment within an ER/acute care environment
