PA Program Department Assistant

PA Program Department Assistant Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000 per year Responsibilities Assist Program Director with general correspondence, surveys, funding, applications, scheduling appointments, and self‑study reports. Maintain records regarding staff, faculty, academic progress, curriculum, and advisory committees. Purchase and inventory office equipment and supplies, as well as instructional and laboratory (medical) supplies. Coordinate and schedule PA Program committee meetings. Assist Program Director in coordination and data collection for self‑study purposes and accreditation. Track, stock, order, and inventory office supplies to ensure adequate materials are available. Send, receive, copy, and distribute communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures. Satisfy logistics and secure resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations. Serve as first point of contact for individuals and groups, providing basic organizational information via phone, in‑person, and other communication mediums, routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities. Required Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant role. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent high levels of urgency or sensitivity. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to lift 5 lbs. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage and organize daily tasks independently and with a team while balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. General administrative duties capability. High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, judgment, and discretion. Ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues. Problem‑solving and deadline‑meeting capabilities. Exceptional analytical problem‑solving, collaboration, and matrix management skills. Education Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
