Deskside Support Technician

L2 Deskside Support TechnicianLocation: San Antonio, TX Duration: Long Term ContractKey Responsibilities:Provide onsite Level 2 deskside support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, video conferencing equipment, and peripheralsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related incidentsSupport Windows, Mac OS, and Apple iOS devices including setup, troubleshooting, and reinstallationLog, track, and update incidents using ServiceNowPerform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities and break-fix supportSupport remote engineering teams with software distribution, image management, workspace security, and MDM activitiesDeliver priority support services to VIP and executive usersPerform imaging and deployment of devices using PXE and USB mediaSupport infrastructure activities including rack and stack, cabling, and data center device troubleshootingMaintain accurate documentation and contribute to reporting requirementsPerform preventative maintenance activities and follow SME guidance for infrastructure supportRequired Skills & Experience:5–7 years of hands-on IT Support or Deskside Support experienceStrong troubleshooting experience with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheralsExperience supporting Windows and Mac operating systemsHands-on experience supporting Apple iOS devices (iPhone/iPad)Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systemStrong experience with Active Directory administrationExperience with Intune device managementExperience with VPN and Zscaler firewall technologiesExperience supporting Zebra printers and scannersKnowledge of SCCM, Citrix, and workspace management platformsExperience with remote support tools such as LogMeInUnderstanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, domains, and client-server environmentsStrong customer service and communication skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with Nexthink end-user analytics platformCompTIA A, ClientP/ClientSE, OEM certifications preferredITIL knowledge is an added advantageExperience with infrastructure support, backup operations, and tape managementSpanish language skills are a plus
