Human Resources CoordinatorThe Human Resources Assistant provides clerical and general support to the Human Resources Department. The role provides responsive customer service to employees of Windsor Laurelwood concerning human resource functions and fulfills administrative and transactional tasks within HR.Primary and Job Specifications:Creates new hire packets; verifies and completes paperwork for all new hires.Creates new hire benefits packets, maintains inventory of same.Enters all new hires and employee data changes into Lawson.Maintains complete computer and hard copy records on all active and terminated employees.Tracks and reports on employees on leave of absences.Processes all verifications of employment and other requests for employee information.Assists department heads with creation of forms, policies/procedures, employee IDs, staffing issues, etc.Processes and reviews mail daily.Prepares Human Resources invoices and check requests.Perform routine departmental filing.Assists in the annual Open Enrollment process, special audits and surveys.Orders and maintains departmental supplies.It takes passion and dedication to meet the behavioral health needs of our community. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.Education/Experience: Associate degree or equivalent experience in Business or Human Resources.Thorough knowledge of office procedures and practices, including but not limited to multiple-line telephone operation, copier/fax, use of a personal computer and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio). Knowledge of internet and intranet technology.Ability to write and type clearly and concisely and use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Licensure/Certification: NoneKnowledge: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; decision-making and problem-solving skills; adept in use of routine office equipment; efficiency in computer programs; ability to handle information as strictly confidential.Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Manual dexterity for typing and to access filing systems. Push, pull and lift up to 10 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
