Project Controller

Job Description

The Project Controller supports the General Manager – Project Controls in implementing and maintaining project control systems across assigned projects from early development through project completion. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, cost control, reporting, and performance monitoring to ensure projects are delivered in line with approved scope, budget, and timelines.

The Project Controller works closely with development, design, engineering, project managers and construction teams to provide accurate data, analysis, and insights that enable effective decision-making and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in line with approved master programs.

· Track progress against baseline schedules and identify schedule variances, delays, and critical path impacts.

· Support schedule risk analysis and assist in developing recovery and mitigation plans.

· Assist in preparing and updating project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow projections.

· Implement project control procedures, standards, and tools as directed by the General Manager.

· Collect, validate, and analyze project data related to progress, cost, and resources.

· Identify early warnings on potential cost or schedule risks and escalate issues with recommended corrective actions.

· Contribute to improving project control processes, templates, and reporting tools

· Support preparation of executive presentations and management reports.

· Maintain accurate project records, schedules, and control documentation.

· Monitor project progress, budgets, cash flow and report any differences.

· Support feasibility studies, estimates, and financial updates during early project stages.

· Coordinate with design consultants and project teams to track design progress and approvals. xhyhwjd

· Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.

· Follow established project control systems, tools, and reporting formats

Education and Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in related field

· Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or technical field is preferred

· Solid communication and leadership skills

· Analytical and results oriented mindset

· Effective time management skills

· Strong computer software skills, including OPC or Primavera
