Accounting Clerk

Location: LaPorte, IN (100% onsite)

About the Company and Opportunity:

This role offers hands-on experience in daily accounting tasks and administrative support within a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Assist with data entry, invoice coding, and filing.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.

• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Salary: $49,225 – $51,425 depending on experience Note: This role is 100% onsite
