CNC Machinist

Fischione Instruments is seeking a CNC Machinist for our world-class manufacturing facility located in Export, PA. Our CNC Machinist is responsible for operating, programming and maintaining CNC machines to produce intricate, close tolerance of small advanced-precision parts and components. Machinists will ensure low volume production runs are done in a safe and efficient manner producing high quality parts.

Core responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC mills/lathes to produce small, tight-tolerance parts, operating machinery in a prototype/low-volume production environment, reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings with the ability to go from print to part, using and maintaining measuring tools to ensure parts are produced to specification, using and maintaining hand tools including the sharpening of drills and cutting tools, and the ability to conduct periodic maintenance, troubleshoot and limited repairs on machines.

Qualification and experience required include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years machining experience including setup and operation of CNC equipment, mathematical skills including trigonometry, geometry and simple math, strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to high quality standards, strong knowledge of CNC machine programming (both G and M Code), and manual machining experience is highly desirable.

Physical requirements include the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, ability to bend, kneel and lift material, up to 40lbs.

Working hours are first shift only - 7:00am to 3:30pm. Salary information is $25.00+/hr (skilled based pay).
