Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echocardiography Ultrasound Technologist requiring RDCS-PE or RCS-PE credentialing and 3+ years of independent pediatric echo scanning experience.

Details

• Cardiology Non-Invasive unit focused on pediatric echocardiography
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 36 hours per week
• On-call required every weekend, covering Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 8am-10pm, and Monday 5pm-5am
• On-call pay guaranteed at 36 hours weekly regardless of call-in status
• Must be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of an on-call request
• Scans independently in critical care areas including NICU and PICU

Requirements

• ARDMS or CCI credential in pediatric echocardiography (RDCS-PE or RCS-PE) required
• Minimum of 3 years independent pediatric echo scanning experience required
• Fetal echocardiography experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of complex congenital heart disease, cardiac surgical repairs, and pediatric cardiac anatomy required
• Experience with pediatric patients and family centered care required
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs independent pediatric echocardiographic scanning in high-acuity critical care settings
• No block schedules permitted for any reason
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible near the facility
• Accepts local candidates within 50 miles at local rate, with radius rate applied for 50-100 miles
