This contract opportunity begins in August and extends through June, located near Claremont, NH. You’ll have the opportunity to support and guide students on their educational journeys, working closely with a welcoming school community.

This assignment offers a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, for 32–37.5 hours per week. As a valued special education professional, you’ll create and implement individualized education plans, collaborate with classroom teachers, and advocate for student success. Be part of shaping a supportive and inclusive educational environment as you serve a high school caseload throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with high school student populations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt lessons and materials to meet students’ abilities and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Assess student progress and maintain detailed records
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
