Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Restored Strength Therapy, you will work primarily in patients' homes, which allows you to foster meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and functional limitations to inform tailored treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that utilize evidence-based techniques and modalities, such as exercise programs, manual therapy, and functional movement training.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and recovery milestones.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care continuity.
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in the field of physical therapy, integrating new techniques and technologies into practice as appropriate.
• Participate in the organization's quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on effective self-management strategies, preventative care techniques, and the promotion of overall health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve encompass a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, and those with mobility impairments. Providing care in a home setting allows for individualized attention and the opportunity to assess patients in their daily environments, facilitating more effective therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to state regulations and standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare team members.
• Adept problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Post-graduate education or certifications in specialized areas such as manual therapy, corrective and restorative exercise, or dry needling.

Compensation and Benefits
