Your Role as Our HR Manager As our HR Manager, you are a strategic partner reporting directly to the Executive VP. The role blends high‑level strategy (15%), team leadership (40%), and hands‑on execution (45%). People & Culture Leadership Champion the successful foundation built over four decades, ensuring our core values—humility, honesty & integrity, make it happen, high standards, happy customers, efficiency, and happy & successful employees—are woven into every interaction. Lead executive hiring, personally managing recruitment of Branch Managers and corporate leadership. Oversee performance management by coaching managers on effective corrective conversations and healthy team processes like monthly 1‑1 meetings. Drive effectiveness by auditing hiring metrics such as “Time to First Contact.” Empower through training: lead weekly one‑hour HR orientation for new hires and provide high‑level management training. Cultivate retention by identifying trends and creating solutions to keep teams engaged and successful. HR Operations & Compliance Ensure the company’s engine runs smoothly, allowing employees to focus on their tasks. Payroll & Benefits: ensure total accuracy in bi‑weekly ADP payroll and manage robust benefits packages. Compliance: navigate FMLA, ACA, workers’ compensation, and other legal and reporting requirements. Community Building: organize the Annual Company Picnic that brings the Naturescape family together. Systems Development & Strategic Support Improve existing systems and collaborate on new ones, including compensation, policy, and employment processes. Provide strategic input at executive meetings and work with the in‑house software team to create custom HR solutions.
