Patient Services Coordinator

Job Description Job Description Emerge Physical Therapy & Wellness is a private outpatient clinic focusing on pelvic floor physical therapy. We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and competent patient services coordinator. Hours are flexible but typically during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Must have a background in customer service with strong communication skills. This is a full time position. Responsibilities Onboarding new clients including managing phone calls and emails Maintaining patient and clinician schedules Maintain general cleanliness of the clinic Ongoing communication with clinicians and clients Verifying insurance benefits Maintain complete and accurate patient records Scanning/faxing/basic clerical duties Experience and Education required Preferred background in health care or similar customer service field. Basic understanding of health insurance terminology including deductible, co-payment, co-insurance, etc. Understanding of HIPAA Critical thinking skills Strong communication skills Organizational skills Knowledge of outpatient services provided (pelvic floor physical therapy) Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person \nCompany Description Physical Therapy and Wellness company with goals to serve our community with the highest level of wellness practices.
