Management AnalystTryfacta is seeking a Management Analyst for our client in Albuquerque, NM 87102. This is a temporary contract assignment. If there are any issues with the hours, let us know we may be able to accommodate.Pay Rate: $17.54Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Conduct research, data collection, and analytical studies to support departmental programs, projects, and operational initiatives.Analyze financial, budgetary, operational, and performance-related information and prepare findings, reports, and recommendations.Review and evaluate policies, procedures, internal controls, organizational practices, and departmental operations.Assist with compliance audits, performance reviews, process improvement initiatives, and management studies.Research and analyze legislative, regulatory, policy, and governmental information affecting departmental operations.Review financial records, budgets, expenditures, operational reports, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.Prepare clear, concise, and professional written reports, correspondence, recommendations, presentations, and supporting documentation.Assist in budget development, financial analysis, expenditure monitoring, and revenue forecasting activities.Compile, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources to support departmental decision-making.Coordinate with city departments, governmental agencies, stakeholders, and other entities to gather information and support project objectives.Provide administrative and analytical support for special projects, strategic initiatives, and organizational studies.Maintain accurate records, reports, project files, and supporting documentation.Utilize spreadsheets, databases, financial systems, and other computer applications to perform analytical and reporting functions.Participate in project teams, workgroups, and committees as assigned.Respond professionally to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.Perform other related duties as assigned.To be considered for this position, you should have:Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, Government, or a related field.Professional experience in one or more of the following areas:AuditingFinancial AnalysisBudget AnalysisLegislative AnalysisGovernmental OperationsPublic AdministrationProgram or Management AnalysisCompliance ReviewExperience working for a municipal, county, state, federal, or other governmental entity is highly preferred.Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, public administration principles, governmental operations, and policy analysis.Experience reviewing financial, operational, legislative, compliance, or performance-related information.Ability to evaluate policies, procedures, internal controls, and organizational practices.Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing reports and professional correspondence.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with government officials, staff, stakeholders, and the public.Tryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
