Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention. Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying permitted entry when required, and assisting with visitor-related protocols in alignment with site expectations. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
